The Better Bones & Balance Clinic will provide you or your family member with Pre-Rehabiliation services prior to the upcoming Orthopaedic surgery, as well as, assisting in the Rehabilitation post operatively. If there is surgery cutting through muscle tissue, fascia, and/or bone Physiotherapy is required.

Our Senior Physio was apart of the decision process on those Public patients being referred onto the Orthopaedic Surgeons for consultation or whether the patient was not ready for a surgical consult and required further medical and/or conservative management, such Physiotherapy.

Working along side many Orthopaedic Surgeons has provided the clinic with an understanding of what many surgeons deem appropriate, and those patients that require some Rehabilitation, prior to surgery. Most individuals, require strengthening or flexibility exercises as part of their Rehabilitation as too often the tissue around the affected joints have become weak and stiff.
PreHab is a service that reviews patients prior to going for surgery. One or two consults to provide, education of the upcoming surgery, exercises to assist strength and flexibility, or recommendation to exercise programs such as aquatic therapy will be assessed. Please contact us to be assessed and provided some exercises for your affected joints. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions. Remember BETTER MOVEMENT, BETTER HEALTH.
